Obituary of Angelo Passanisi

Angelo Passanisi, 55, of Peabody, beloved husband of Raffaella (Castaldi) Passanisi of Peabody, died Thursday morning at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center, Burlington following a brief illness. Born in Augusta, Sicilia, Italy, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Rosa (Miduri) Passanisi. He had lived in Italy for over 20 years before immigrating to the United States in 1969. He had first lived in Roslindale/Hyde Park area many years before moving to Peabody in 1985. He had lived in Peabody for ten years and lived another ten years living in Cape Coral Florida and has spent the last couple of years living in Peabody. While living in FLorida, he had worked for the Florida School Board for the maintenance department for seven years before moving back to Peabody. He also was a tileman who worked independently on the North Shore. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by two sons, Luigi and David Passanisi, both of Peabody; three daughters, Lisa, and Rosanna Passanisi, both of Peabody and Marilyn Passanisi of Cape Coral, FL; three brothers Giovanni Passanisi of Medford, Mario Passanisi of Everett and Guiseppe Passanisi, of Itlay; two sisters, Domenica D’ Amico, and Lilliana Conte, both of Italy. He is also survived by a mother-in-law, Maria Castaldi of Hyde Park, grandfather of Raffaella, Ariana, Nitalia, and Jaida and survived by several nieces and nephews.
