Obituary of Michael R. Visone
Michael R. Visone, 23,
died after a long and courageous battle with Juvenile Huntington’s disease. He was born on September 27, 1984, son of Gayle and Jim Eason of Peabody and John Visone also of Peabody. He graduated from Peabody High School in 2003.
Mike loved all sports. He was an avid Bruin’s fan, but his favorite player was his long-time friend, Sergei Samsonov. Mike loved being around people, had a great smile, sense of humor and was very caring and in tune to other people’s needs. Mike always made the best of what he had as he continued to lose his battle with Huntington’s disease.
Mike loved his job at Hannaford’s Supermarket in West Peabody where he met some of his closest friends during his five years there. He was the inspiration for Mike’s Wish Foundation, which assists families living with Juvenile Huntington’s disease.
Mike is survived by three sisters, Jolie Eason of Warwick, Rhode Island, Jamie and Lyndsy Eason, three brothers John Visone, Jr., Nicholas and James (JT) Eason all of Peabody. He is the grandson of Mary Visone of Middleton, the late Sal Visone and Robert White of Peabody and the late Patricia White. He is also survived by his niece Becky Kerzner and nephew Zachary Michael Kerzner of Warwick, Rhode Island.
His Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at the West Congregational Church in Peabody, MA to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery also located in Peabody.
