Obituary of Albert M. Lane

Albert M. Lane, 63, of Peabody, died Saturday afternoon at the George S. Patton Center, Group Home in Beverly following a brief Illness. Born in Peabody, he was the son of Stella (Stankovitch) Lane of Peabody and the late Albert Leo Lane. He was a life long resident of Peabody. Albert was an avid Red Sox fan and loved listening to his music and his police and fire scanner. He also was a member of the Bass River Inc Group where he enjoyed doing various activities and woodworking. Besides his loving mother, Albert is survived by his two sisters, June Lane of Pembroke, and Frances M. Smith of Peabody and his many dear and close friends at Bass River and the George S. Patton Center. His funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 9:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. John’s Church Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 until 7:00 PM. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem. Expressions of sympathy can be sent to Bass River, Inc, 12 Hanson St., Salem, MA 01970.
