Obituary of Francis Carter

Francis Carter of Peabody passed away at Salem Hospital on Monday April 28, 2008 following a brief illness. Francis Carter was born on November 3, 1922 to the late Edward and Mamie (Mercer) Carter, formerly of Hamilton Ma. Francis has lived in Peabody for over 50 years. He worked in the leather industry for many years and retired from the A.C. Lawrence Company in 1988. Francis is survived by his sister Catherine Carter-Sanborn and his two brothers John and Leroy H. Carter. Francis is also survived by a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Services will be held privately by the family
