Maureen F. Ivis
PEABODYMaureen F. Ivis, 71, died peacefully on Wednesday evening at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers following a long illness.
Born in Marlborough, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Gladys (Wolfkiel) Ivis. She lived in several communities and group homes, and was an example of unconditional love to all whom she met with her special needs. She also showed dedication in the various jobs she held.
Maureen was active with ARC of the North, and was involved in the Meridian Program.
She is survived by: two sisters, Bernadette Oliveri of Peabody and Rose Santos of Quincy, several nieces and nephews, and enjoyed a wonderful relationship and friendship with the many health care professionals and those with whom she resided.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. location,
followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 AM in St. Ann’s Church, Peabody. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
