Obituary of Steven D. Hagood
Steven D. Hagood, 53, of Peabody and formerly of Lynn, died unexpectedly on Monday morning at his home.
Born in Springfield, he was the son of Beverly (Johnson) (Hagood) Daniels of Springfield and the late Charles Hagood. He was raised and educated in Springfield and was a graduate of Springfield High School. He later lived in Lynn for 17 years and has lived in Peabody for the past year.
Steven was a chef who worked for various venues throughout the North Shore and Boston, most notable the Fleet Pavilion and the Allenhurst restaurant. Also, while living in Lynn, he worked as a property manager for five years.
He was an avid pool player and enjoyed playing chess.
Besides his loving mother, Steven is survived by his fiancée Kim Mitchell of Peabody, his sister, Sherry Trotter of Jacksonville, Fla, and many friends throughout the North Shore. He was the father of the late Tasha Hagood.
His funeral service will be held on Saturday at 9:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
