Obituary of Paula J. Campbell

Paula J. Campbell, 59, of Peabody, died unexpectedly on Tuesday May 13, 2008 at her home. Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Rita (Kilderry) Campbell. She was a lifelong resident of Peabody and was a graduate of Bishop Fenwick High School in Peabody. After high school, she attended Salem State College and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Education, and later, she received her Master’s Degree in History. Paula taught history for over 30 years at the Peabody Veteran’s Memorial High School before retiring a couple of years ago. Paula enjoyed knitting and reading and also loved watching all of Boston’s professional sports teams, especially the Red Sox. She is survived by her three cousins, Patricia and her husband Doug Dash of Salem, Frances and her husband James Fachko of Seneca, NY and Linda and her late husband Lee Gurule of Albuquerque, NM, her two cats and her dog Samari and many dear friends and colleagues at Peabody Veteran’s Memorial High School. A Memorial Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 5:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 20 Church St., Peabody Facility to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 3:00 until 5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her name to the Boston and Cat Animal Hospital, 21 Bourbon St, Peabody, MA 01960
