Obituary of Dorothy (Torrey) Noonan

Dorothy (Torrey) Noonan, 84, of Peabody and formerly of Lynn, died Saturday evening at the Rosewood Nursing Home following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late William P. Noonan. Born in West Warwick, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late George and Eva (Snow) Torrey. She was raised and educated in Maine, later lived in Lynn and for the past 50 years has lived in Peabody. Along with her husband, William she was a member of the Veteran of Foreign War Club in Saugus. Dorothy is survived by a brother George Torrey of Melrose, a sister, Shirley LaBonte of Ocala, Fl and by many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Barbara Cossa and Audrey Helms. Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 20 Church St., Peabody Facility to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 10:00 until 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody
