Obituary of John H Welch

John H. Welch, 66, of Peabody and formerly of Medford, died early Wednesday morning at his home following a brief illness. He was the devoted husband of Nancy (Driscoll) Welch with whom he shared over 45 years of marriage. Born in Medford, he was the son of the late Harriet (Hazelwood) Welch. He was raised and educated in Medford and was a graduate of Medford High School, class of 1960. He has lived in Peabody for over 43 years. For the past 10 years, he worked as director of maintenance at the Pilgrim Nursing Home in Peabody. John was a dedicated husband, father, and friend who will be dearly missed by all those who loved him. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kerry and Scott Bingham of North Andover and a sister, Elizabeth Creighton of Medford. His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 20 Church St., Peabody Facility. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody
