Obituary of Louise H. (Sylvester) Borriello

PEABODY Louise H. (Sylvester) Borriello, 63, beloved wife of Peter Borriello, died peacefully by her family’ s side on Friday afternoon at the Hospice in Salem Hospital following a long illness. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of Etta (Swiecicki) Sylvester of Quincy and the late Frank Sylvester. She lived in Brighton in her youth, and attended schools there. She graduated from Brighton High School, Class of 1956. She lived in Peabody for the last 43 years, and was a devoted nana, mother, wife and homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by: her husband, Peter Boriello of Peabody, with whom she shared 43 years of marriage; one son and daughter-in-law, Steven & Laurie Borriello of Sterling, MA; one daughter and son-in-law, Susan & Mark Stefanski of Salem; three grandchildren, Cameron Sal Borriello and Jeremy Jacob Borriello, both of Sterling, and Anastasia Louise Stefanski of Salem; her mother, Etta (Swiecicki) Sylvester of Quincy; a sister, Geri Collis of CA; one brother, Michael Swiecicki of Chicago, IL; a special cousin, Phyllis Pond of Brighton, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Sylvester. Her funeral will be held on Monday at 11 AM in the Conway facility at 12 Chestnut St. of the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 4 to 8 P.M. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
