Obituary of April R. Palmer

April Palmer, 16, of Peabody, died Sunday evening at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Boston, as results from injuries sustained last Tuesday evening while crossing Route 128 in Peabody. Born in Salem, she was the daughter of Raymond and Janet (Melanson) Palmer, both of Peabody. She was raised in Peabody and was a Junior at Peabody Community School. She was gymnast for over 8 years and had belonged to the YMCA in Beverly and was part of the Wildcats team. She loved singing and was a member of the Higgins Junior High School Chorus group. She was a very kind-hearted person who loved her family and her animals. Besides her father, Raymond and his wife, Debbie Palmer of Peabody and her mother Janet (Melanson) Palmer of Peabody, she is survived by a brother Eddie Fuller of Peabody; 4 sisters, Kelli Smith of Brockton, Jenny Hobbs and Casey Mackey, both of Salem, and Gina Palmer of Peabody; her grandmother, Florence Palmer of Danvers, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Her funeral will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 12 Chestnut St., Peabody facility followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John’ s Church Peabody at 11:00 A.M. Visiting hours on Thursday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
