Obituary of Mary (Bucon) Buivid

Mary Buivid, 98, of Peabody, died Tuesday at the Salem Hospital after a short illness. She was the wife of the late Chester Buivid. She was born in Wheeling, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Kosidlo) Bucon and had resided in Peabody for the past 30 years. She had been a seamstress at the David Smith Clothing Company of Lynn for 35 years prior to her retirement. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jo-Ann and Jack Vess of Peabody, and a grandson, Michael Vess of Peabody. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home . Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 9:00AM at the Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Peabody at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in St . Joseph’s Cemetery, Lynn.
