Obituary of Robert E. Limongiello Sr.

Robert E. Limongiello Sr., 69, of West Peabody, died Sunday at the Salem Hospital following a brief illness. He was the husband of Marilyn (Tuttavilla) Limongiello with whom he shared 35 years of marriage. He was born in Boston on January 4, 1939, the son of the late Gabriel and Mary (Disario) Limongiello and was raised and educated in East Boston. He had resided in Peabody for the past 35 years. Robert had been a machinist for the Polaroid Corp and other companies for over twenty years. He then became a water analyst at the Budget Pools in Peabody for 10 years until his retirement a year ago. He had a large collection of Dept. 56 Villages and was a member of the North Shore Village Association. He enjoyed his backyard with his pool and helping with the vegetable and flower garden. He had served in the Mass. National Guard from 1957 until his discharge in 1963. Surviving him besides his wife are a son and daughter-in-law, David and Lisa (Larson) Limongiello of Salem and their daughter, Katelyn Limongiello , his three children from a previous marriage and their families, Steven Limongiello of Canton, MA, Robert Limongiello Jr. of NH, and Lisa Aversa of NC and many loving friends. A Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility with a Funeral Service will be held Following Visitation at 8:00 PM. with Rev.
