Obituary of Rosemary T. (Randazzo) Butler
Rosemary Theresa (Randazzo) Butler, 64, of Peabody died Thursday at the Mass General Hospital in Boston after a long illness. She was born in Woburn on December 17, 1943, the daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Freeman) Randazzo and was raised in Stoneham graduating from Stoneham High School.
She had resided in Peabody for the past 23 years.
Rosemary was first employed as a home health aide at the Pilgrim House Nursing Home in Peabody. She later worked at the Elite Nursing Service and then as a private health aide for 25 years prior to her illness.
She enjoyed playing bingo and had been a volunteer at the Haven for Hungar program in Peabody for many years.
She is survived by a daughter, Kathleen Caron of Peabody,her sister and brother-in-laws, Charles and Barbara Randazzo of Middleton, Sandra and Michael Sullivan of Wakefield and Betty Ann and William Marmion of Peabody, a brother, Frank Randazzo of Danvers, her grandchildren, Sean and Erin Baptista of Berwick, Me, Stephanie Butler of Nashua, NH, Christopher and Justin Butler of Peabody, her three great grandchildren, Anthony, Jacob and Nicholas Baptista and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the Patricia Butler.
A visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 until 5:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. Her Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral home on Monday at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
