Obituary of Alice (Marshall) Farias

Alice (Marshall) Farias, 85, of Peabody and formerly of Cambridge, died Thursday afternoon at the Salem Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Jacinto and Susaltina (Costa) Marshall. She was raised and educated in Cambridge and while living in Cambridge, she attended St. Anthony's Church. She has lived in Peabody for the past 20 years. She worked as a stitcher for over 27 years at both Cosmopolotin in Boston and BLowers in Cambridge. She is survived by a sister of Lillian Roderick of Stonington, Ct and by several loving and devoted nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Francis and Manuel Marshall. Her funeral service will be held Monday at 9:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 20 Church St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Adelaide’s Church, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 4:00 until 7:00 PM. Burial will be in Cambridge Cemetery, Cambridge
