Obituary of Theresa G. (Morin) Angelopolus

Theresa (Morin) Angelopolus, 82, of Salem, wife of the late Gregory Angelopolus, entered into Eternal Rest on Monday, August 18, 2008 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers after a long illness. She was born in Salem on January, 22,1926, the daughter of the late Octave and Marie A. (Belanger) Morin and had resided in Salem most of her life. She had been employed at the former Osram Sylvania plants in Salem and later at area nursing homes and hospitals prior to her retirement. She also served as a foster mother for Catholic Charities caring for over 25 infants and children over a five year period. She and her husband, Gregory, shared 59 years of marriage together and enjoyed many cruises and trips together. She is survived by two sons, Gregory R. Angelopolus of Salem and Daniel Angelopolus of Lynn, two daughters and a son-in-law, Marcella Angelopolus and Evangeline and Richard Clement all of Salem, a sister, Lucie Lemelin of Salem and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Dennis Angelopolus and the sister of the late Cecile Castonguay, Yvonne Kulas, Marie Shepperson, and Samuel, Albert, Gerard and Raymond Morin. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 until 6:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. Following visitation a Service will be held there at 6:00 PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
