Obituary of Catherine M. (White) Le Blanc

Catherine Mary (White) LeBlanc, 70, of Peabody and formerly of Nahant and Lynn, died Wednesday evening at the Walden Rehab Center in Concord, Ma after a year and a half illness. She was born in Somerville, MA on May 15, 1938, the daughter of the late John F. and Ruth E. (Corcoran) White and was raised in Nahant. She was a graduate of Lynn English High School in 1956 and had worked and devoted her life to helping the special needs children. She also helped the elderly and worked at the former Pine Hill Rest Home in Lynn. She had been a school monitor and also worked for Laidlaw Transit of North Reading helping with the special needs children. She is survived by a son, Richard K. Le Blanc of Peabody, two daughters and a son-in-law, Caren and William Champa of Reading and Lorraine Tibbets of Lynn, her grandchildren, Joseph Champa of Reading, Jason and Adam Tibbets of Lynn and Melissa Tibbets Goguen of New Bedford. A Visitation will be held on Friday from 5 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill - Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. Her Funeral will be held on Saturday at 8:00 AM from the Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Lynn at 9:00 AM. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
