Obituary of Grace Frances (Horman) Buston

Grace Frances (Horman) Buston, 97, of Lynnfield, died early Tuesday afternoon at the Rosewood Nursing Home following a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas P. Buston. Born in her aunt’ s farm in Dracut, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Bridget (Mullen) Horman. She was raised in the Lowell Area and spent most of her married life living in Lynnfield. She was a Red Cross Volunteer during World War I and II, a former member of the Catholic Women’ s Guild, a contributor to the friends of the Lynnfield Library and a longtime summer resident of Wolfeboro, NH. She is survived by her two grandsons, Donald Buston and Thomas and his wife Sharon Buston, all of Lynnfield, her daughter-in-law, Joan (McMahon) Buston of Lynn, a brother, Raymond Horman of Dracut and a sister Ruth Rodgers of Lowell and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Anthony and Charles Horman,Mary Dubuque, Margaret "Peg" prescott and Arline Gleason. Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 9:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody Facility, followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Assumption Church, Lynnfield at 10:00 AM to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Burial in St. Patrick’ s Cemetery, Lowell.
