Obituary of William Brennan
William Brennan, 47, of Peabody, died Sunday evening at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the husband of Denise (Tkachuk) Brennan.
He was born in Danvers on October 12, 1960, the son of Roger and Joan Ann (Fitzpatrick) Brennan of Peabody and had resided in Peabody all his life.
He was a graduate of Peabody Veterans Memorial High School in 1978 and was employed in the shipping department of the Stahl Leather Company in Peabody for 15 years. He later became a shipper and Handler for the Beacon Electrical Supply Company in Peabody for the past 7 years.
He enjoyed camping and fishing in New Hampshire and watching the Red Sox and the Patriots. He also liked sci-fi movies but his real enjoyment was spending time with his family.
Surviving him besides his wife and parents all of Peabody are a son Conor Brennan of Peabody, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Kelly and Edward Furbush of Lynnfield and Jean and Jon Tsoulas of Florida, a sister-in-law. Deanna Tkachuk and his mother and father-in-law, Philip and Karin Tkachuk all of Peabody, his nephew and niece, Cameron and Kayleigh Furbush of Lynnfield, his special cat, “Peanut” and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was the father of the late Padriac Brennan.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St. Peabody facility. His funeral will be held on Thursday at 9:00 AM from the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Peabody at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hospice of the No Shore, 75 Sylvan St. B-102, Danvers, MA 01923 in his memory.
