Obituary of Louis Manos

Louis Manos, 82, a former Peabody resident, passed away peacefully at his home in Gilbert, Arizona after a brief illness on Sunday, August 31, 2008. Louis was born to Paul and Stella Manos of Peabody on June 11, 1926. He attended Peabody Public Schools and upon graduating, enlisted into the United States Navy. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. After the war, Louis attended college and was a graduate of Northeastern University. He retired from Intel Corporation in Chandler, Arizona in 1992. Louis is survived by six children, Peter Manos of Peabody, Stephanie (Manos) Leopold of Camarillo, CA., Jo-Ann (Manos) Comeau of Danvers, Paula Manos of Peabody, Paul Manos of Gilbert, AZ, Melanie (Manos) Fraser of Danvers, and he also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. His funeral service will be held on Saturday at 9:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody followed by a Services in St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, Peabody at 10:00 AM to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Hospice, Odyssey Healthcare, 202 E. Earll Dr., Suite 160, Phoenix, AZ 85012.
