Obituary of Mary E. (Raffenello) Keller

Mary Eda (Raffenello) Keller, 76, of Peabody, died early Friday morning at the Kindred Hospital in Peabody after a short illness. She was the wife of Donald F. Keller with whom she shared 55 years of marriage. She was born in Peabody on November 5, 1931, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Katherine Raffenello and was rasied here graduating from Peabody High School in 1949 and resided here all her life. She had been a secretary at the security department of the former Ann & Hope Store in Danvers for 24 years prior to her retirement in 1994. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends and taking trips to Foxwoods and Alantic City. She also liked vacationing in the Mountain and lakes in New Hampshire and Maine. She had been a parishioner for many years at the former St. Joseph Church in Peabody. Her real pleasure was the Sunday dinners with her family and enjoying her grandchildren playing sports. Surviving her besides her husband are a son, Donald Keller of Peabody, a daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Mitch Getchell of Peabody, a brother and sister-in-law, Patrick and Mimi Raffenello of Beverly, her loving grandchildren, Matthew Keller and his companion, Haley Salinas of So. Boston, Amy Keller and her fiancé, Chris Pocsik of Danvers, and Macy and Danielle Getchell both of Peabody and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late John Raffenello and Angie Moroni. A Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. Her Funeral will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM from the Funeral Home followed by a funeral Mass in St. John’s Church, Peabody at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery , Lynn. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
