Obituary of Priscilla J. (Newton) Winsor

Priscilla Janice (Newton) (LaBelle) Winsor, 69, of Grand Prairie, Texas, died at her home on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Charles Winsor. She was born in Peabody on February 23, 1939, the daughter of the late Sidney V. and Nellie M. (Hartman) Newton and had resided here most of her life. She was a graduate of Peabody High School. While her children were in school, she worked for many years with the cafeteria department of the Peabody School System. Later, she was employed at Analog Devices in Wakefield as an inspector for many years prior to her retirement. She then moved to Englewood, Florida in 1996 where she resided for 8 years before moving to Grand Prairie, Texas four years ago. Throughout her years, she was a devoted mother and grandmother and will be missed by all. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and reading biographies, mysteries and true life stories. She was the former wife of James W. LaBelle of Acton, Maine. She is survived by her sister, Phyllis A. (Newton) Cosman of Peabody,, MA, her four sons and daughters-in-law, James E. and Lea (Bertoglio) LaBelle of Hillsboro, Oregon, Robert A. and Kathleen S. (Driscoll) LaBelle of Manchester, NH, Mark S. and Robbin (Ladue) LaBelle of Willingboro, N,J,, and Richard P. and Linda (Torres) LaBelle of Grand Prairie, Texas, her nine grandchildren, Sarah E. and James B. LaBelle of No. Carolina, Elizabeth H. and Adam R. La Belle of New Hampshire, Mark S. LaBelle Jr. of New Jersey, Jason V. LaBelle of Florida, Kristen M. and Jesse F. LaBelle of Texas and S. Michael Monge of California, her three great-grandchildren, James A. LaBelle of No. Carolina, and Michael and Alex Monge of California and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. Her funeral Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 16 Washington St., Peabody. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
