Obituary of Patricia Ann (Estey) Potyla

Patricia Ann (Estey) Potylo, 63, of Danvers, died suddenly on Sunday, October 12, 2008 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was the wife of Louis B. Potylo with whom she shared 36 years of marriage. She was born in Beverly on December 2, 1944 and was raised in Essex and was a graduate of the Hamitlon Wenham Regional High School. She had resided in Danvers with her family for the past 33 years. She had been a manager at the Filene’s Basement Store at the North Shore Mall in Peabody for 25 years until her retirement 2years ago. She enjoyed photography and traveling both in United States and abroad and was a long loyal Red Sox fan. What she cherished most was her family and especially her granddaughter. Surviving her besides her husband are a daughter , Susan Potylo Moran and her husband Robert Moran of Exeter, NH, a son, Robert Potylo of Danvers,her granddaughter, Lilly Moran of Exeter, NH, her mother-in-law, Josephine Potowa of Peabody, MA and a large extended family and many friends. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 20 Church St., Peabody location (Downtown). Her Funeral will be held on Thursday at 9:00 AM from the Funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Richard’s Church, Forest St., Danvers at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Mass. General Hospital Kidney Foundation, Fruit St., Boston, MA 02108 in her memory.
