Obituary of Eleanor (Bartlett) (Cardarette Hurd

Eleanor Florence Hurd Lynn, October 11, 2002. Eleanor Florence Hurd, 86, of Lynn, Ma, died Friday evening at the Phillips Manor Nursing Home, Lynn. She was the Wife of the late Roy Cardarette and later the late Maynard Hurd. She was born in Malden, Ma. on December 1, 1915, the daughter of the late Frank and Cora (Thompson) Bartlett and had resided in Saugus most of her Life until moving to Peabody 15 years ago. She was a member the South Congregational Church in Peabody and was Active with the Ladies Group and was also a member of the choir. Her Favorite pastime was knitting. She is survived by 3 daughters, Pat Bovio and Sandra Cardarette both of Salem and Gail Ferraro of Naples, Fl., 8 grandchldren, 17 great grandchildren And many nieces and nephews. She was the grandmother of the late David A. Le Brun. Following cremation, A Funeral Ceremony will be held on Thursday at 11:00 A.M. At the Conway, Cahill-Broduer Funeral Home at the 20 Church St., Peabody Facility. Urn burial in Spring Grove Cemetery, Andover.
