Obituary of Lauren Savoie-Thornton

Lauren Savoie-Thornton, 44, of Gloucester and formerly of Peabody and Beverly, died early Friday morning at the Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Paul Thornton. Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Ronald Savoie and Gertrude (Phillips) (Savoie) Wolter. She had lived throughout the North Shore in Beverly, Peabody and Gloucester. She worked as a secretary in the medical records department at the former Hunt Hospital in Danvers. Lauren is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Glen and Yaniris Savoie of Peabody, a step sister, Amanda Wolter of Salem and by several aunts and uncles. Following cremation funeral services will be held privately with burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem
