Obituary of James Edward Ahordini
James Edward Ahordini, 61, of South Peabody, died
Thursday morning at the Salem Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born in Peabody on January 11, 1943, the son of Teresa (Bowers) Ahodini and the late John Ahordini and had resided here all his life. He was a graduate of Peabody High School and the
Coyne Electrical Institute in 1963.
He had been employed in the Produce Department of the Stop & Shop Supermarket Stores for 30 years working in Beverly and later in
Gloucester store before retiring in 1999.
He loved to fish at Duncan Lake in NH where he had a cabin and was an avid reader. He was a member of the Peabody Lodge of Elks the Italian American Club of Peabody and was a member of the UFCW Local 1445 of the AFL-CIO Produce workers union.
Surviving him besides his mother are a brother and sister-in-law, John and Barbara Ahordini of Beverly, 2 nephews, Christopher Ahordini of Goergetown and Michael Ahordini of Beverly, a niece Jill Anderson and her son, Matthew Anderson 111, both of Danville, NH
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 12 Chestnut St., Peabody facility. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery,Peabody A Visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00 until 7:00 PM. Realtives and friends are kindly invited. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the
