Obituary of Paul Spyropoulos

Paul Spyropoulos, 65, of Peabody, died peacefully early Sunday morning at his home following a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Carol (Casassa) Spyropoulos with whom he shared over 32 years of marriage. Born in Koroni, Greece, he was the son of the late Konstantinos and Lambrini (Koutsoukos) Spyropoulos. When he was 18 years old, he immigrated to Canada, later lived in Lynn and has spent the last 27 years living in Peabody. He was a realtor appraiser for over 35 years who owned and operated his own business, Tanner City Realty in Peabody and later in Lynn, and worked throughout the entire North Shore. He was a member of the Appraisal Institute, the National Associations of Realtors and the Masonic Temple, Jordan Lodge of Peabody. He had a strong work ethic and was proud to have supported his family and extended family and will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Besides his loving wife Carol, he is survived by three sons, Charles, Christos, and Gregory Spyropoulos, all of Peabody, a daughter, Rita and her husband Andrew Constantinou of Peabody, a brother and sister-in-law, Nick and Angela Spyropoulos of Lynn, five sisters and four brother-in-laws, Martha and Nick Micas of Lynn, Kally and George Koukounaris of Nahant, Voula Spyropoulos, Helen and Steve Splagounias, and Pauline and Nick Sinodinos, all of Lynn, and is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews. He was the brother and brother-in-law of the late Penny and Angelo Alexander. His Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM from Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody Facility, followed by Services at 12 Noon in St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, Peabody, to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation on Tuesday from 4 until 8 PM Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
