Mrs. McBreen was a passionate educator, civic leader and dedicated mother. She also had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. I have many fond memories of our round table discussions at 35 Gardner Street. I am very sorry for your loss.

As a former neighbor on Gardner Street, I have very fond memories of Mrs. McBreen. The McBreen Family has been very kind to my famiy for many years. Mrs. McBreen was a devoted to the providing better opportunities and support to others, those she knew and those she would never meet. My family and I are grateful for her friendship, her prayers and her wonderful sense of humor, all of which strengthened us at a time in our lives when we needed it most. Rest in peace and good health and comfort to the McBreen and McNiff families.

Sorry to have been away during this time, but I wanted to extend my condolences to Maggie's family. When on the School Committee and I was the Music Administrator, she was always supportive, but never failed to point out problems to me. I truly appreciated her efforts on my behalf and she succeeded in warning me of pitfalls.

A dedicated and spirited public servant with an intellect and passion for public education. Mrs. McBreen's devotion to the children of Peabody will be missed. My condolences to her entire family.

I remember her singing to my children. Jousting with Lovey and Barry at my mother's house about education. Whispering about her father and older brothers. Like all parents, our great achievments are the success and love of our children. I praise her life.
