Obituary of Catherine A. (Coyne) Vasily

Catherine A. (Coyne) Vasily, 83, beloved wife of the late Andrew Vasily, died on Christmas Day, December 25, 2008 at the Peabody Glen Health Care Center in Peabody following a long illness. Born in Everett, she was the daughter of the late David and Mary A. (Joyce) Coyne. She lived in Everett in her youth where she attended schools and went to Everett High School. Catherine lived her faith and devoted her life to her family, and will be remembered for her nurturing love and finding ways to give to those who needed her help. She will be dearly missed by her family, including a daughter and son-in-law, Priscilla “Pat” Deleskey & her husband Robert; two sons, Andrew P. Vasily, and John T. Vasily & his wife Lana; six grandchildren, Shawn Deleskey, Shannon Deleskey, Timothy Vasily, Breanna Vasily, Aurora Vasily, and Electra Vasily; one great-granddaughter Sienna Crane, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters, David, William, Thomas, James, and John Coyne, Helen Coyne, Ann DeMarco, and Mary Teagle. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM in St. John the Baptist Church, 16 Church St., Peabody, to which relatives and friends are kindly invited. A visitation will be at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 20 Church St. location, Peabody, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 A.M. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Everett.
