Obituary of Anne M. (Chimook) Bruni

Anne M. (Chimook) Bruni, 84, of South Peabody, died Saturday at her residence after a long illness. She was the wife of the late John Bruni who died in 1994. She was born in Chelsea, Ma on February 12, 1921, the daughter of the late John and Lukiya (Verenchook) Chimook and had resided in Peabody for the past 51 years. She had been a secretary for over 20 years at the General Electric Co., Lynn prior to her retirement. She was a devout member of Our Lady of Assumption Church, Lynnfield. She is survived by a brother, Leon Chimook of Revere, and six nieces and nephews, Pamela Freda of Peabody, Valerie Saunders of Winchester, Generoso Freda of Boston, Lucille Kooyoomjian of Newton, Janet Rieben of Northbridge, Ma and Peter Rizzo of Ashland, MA and 7 grand nieces and grandnephews. She was the sister of the late John and William Chimook, Dorothy Rizzo, Mary Redmond and Theodora Freda. Her Funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral home at the 12 Chestnut St., Peabody facility followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Assumption Church, Lynnfield, at 10 AM. Burial will be in the Veterans Cemetery, Bourne Ma at 2:00 PM. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
