Obituary of Carol (Hayes) Clarke
Carol (Hayes) Clarke, of Kingston, NH and formerly of Peabody, died Sunday evening at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Frank Clarke.
Born in London, England, she was the daughter of the late Bob and Doris (Gouiliard) Hayes. She was raised and educated in England before emigrating from London to America in 1967.
Carol was a Registered Nurse who worked throughout the North Shore including Brooksby Village, Pilgrim Nursing Home and Oak Island in Revere. She loved bird watching, gardening, traveling and enjoyed doing home décor. What she loved most besides her family was going to the beach and enjoyed the serenity and sunshine.
She is survived by her loving children, David and his wife Diane Clarke of Kona, HI, Jacqueline and her husband Robert Felt of Fremont, NH, and Kerri and her husband Michael McManus of Georgetown, her dear sister, Mary Newbury of Kingston, NH and by her loving six grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors on Friday from 4:00 until 5:00 PM at the Community Covenant Church, 33 Lake St, Peabody and a Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 5:00 PM to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. A collation will be held after the celebration of life ceremony at the church. Arrangements were made by the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St., Danvers, MA 01923
