Obituary of Grace F. (Jensen) Morse
Grace F. (Jensen) Morse, 80, of Peabody and formerly of Salem, died Monday afternoon at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Reginald A. Morse.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Emile and Geralda (Knight) Jensen. She was raised and educated in Salem and has spent the last 59 years living in Peabody.
Grace was a LPN who worked for several nursing homes throughout the North Shore. She also loved antique shopping and after her retirement from nursing, she worked for various antique shops throughout the area. She also loved to read.
Grace is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela and Russell Jones of Wakefield, NH and Vivian and Philip Carpenter of Gilford, NH, her three grandchildren, Ted Jones, and Leigh and Lindsay Carpenter, and is also survived by many dear friends and family. She was the sister of the late Frederick Jensen.
Following cremation, her Memorial Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 1:00 until 4:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 20 Church St., Peabody. Her Burial Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to a charity of one’s choice.
