Obituary of Jean Marie Marston

Jean Marie (Mugford) Marston, 52, of Peabody, died early Saturday morning at the Shaughnessy Rehab. Hospital, Salem after a long illness. She was the wife of Kevin W. Marston. Born in Chelsea on April 8, 1950, she was the daughter of Happy and Barbara (Russell) Mugford and moved to Peabody with her parents 40 years ago. She was a graduate of Peabody High School in 1969. She had been a telephone operator for answering Services on the North Shore for the past 20 years. She enjoyed ceramics, baking, tending to her flowers, crafts and shopping. Surviving her besides her husband and parents all of Peabody are a daughter, Jennifer Lee Marston of Peabody, 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Francis and Deborah Mugford of Peabody and Michael and Melinda Mugford of Danvers, 3 Sisters and 2 brothers-in- law, Barbara and Daniel Marchese, Donna and Kevin Greus and Carol Mugford all of Peabody and many nieces and nephews. She was the granddaughter of the late Hubert and Grace Russell and Harvey and Dinah Mugford and the aunt of the late Kevin C. Greus Jr. Her Funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10:45 A.M. from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 12 Chestnut St., Peabody facility followed by services in the West Congregational Church, Johnson St., West Peabody at 11:30 A.M. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 4:00 until 9:00 P.M. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
