Obituary of Anthony Giannone

Anthony Giannone, 49, of Peabody died Sunday at his Residence after a long illness. He was born in Boston on November 2, 1953, the Son of Jennie (Giambartolomei) Guerra Giannone and the late Anthony Guerra and Had been a resident of Peabody & Salem for the past 40 years. Following the death of His father, his mother remarried to Donald Giannone who helped raised him and also Worked with him until his death in 1990. He was a mechanic at Don’ s Cities Service Station in Everett for 30 years prior to his disability retirement 2 years ago. He enjoyed working with his hands and being with his family. He is survived by his mother of Peabody, a son Anthony F. Giannone of Peabody, 2 daughters, Alana and Angelia Giannone both of Hamilton, Ma., 2 brothers, Vincent Guerra of Peabody and John Guerra of Salem, 2 sisters, Grace Guerra of Peabody and Donna Burton of Malden, 4 nieces and a nephew. He was the father of the late Cindy Ann Giannone who died earlier this year. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at The family lot in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett, Ma.
