Obituary of Robert J. Shea Jr.

Robert J. Shea,Jr. 33, of Hampton Beach, New Hampshire and formerly of Peabody, died early Wednesday morning from injuries sustain from a motor vehicle accident in Brunswick, North Carolina while working for his company. Born in Salem, he was the son of Arlette St. Pierre and her husband Craig Slocum of Peabody, and Robert and his wife Barbara Shea of Salisbury. Robby was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody High School, class of 1991. Robby was a fun loving soul who enjoyed being around people and one year had played Santa Claus at the North Shore Shopping Center in Peabody. He enjoyed working for the moving company which gave him an opportunity to see the country. He was known as "Jr" to his dad and "Shea" to his many friends. Robby was a wonderful son and will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved him including his sisters, Kerrin and Meaghan Shea, both of Salisbury, his maternal grandparents, Edgar and Rita St. Pierre of Burlington, his paternal grandparents, Chester and Barbara Shea of West Dennis and Ellen and the late Victor Chapruet of Beverly and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Memorial Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at St. John’ s Church, Peabody to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Donations can be made in his memory to St. John’ s the Baptist Church, 17 Church St., Peabody, MA 01960.
