Obituary of Ralph W. Harris Sr.

Ralph William Harris Sr., 66, of Peabody, died Early Wednesday morning at his residence after a brief illness. He was the husband Of Rosemarie (Holt) Harris with whom he shared 46 years of marriage. Born in Lynn, Mass on April 28, 1936, he was the son of the late William H. And Euretta (Collins) Harris and had resided there before moving to Peabody 44 years ago. He had been a Truck Driver of the Laidlaw Co. for 12 years and then became a school bus driver for the City of Beverly for 5 years prior to his retirement 3 years ago. He loved gardening and working around his yard. Surviving him besides his wife are three sons and a daughter-in-law, Ralph W. Harris Jr., James Harris and William and Norma Harris all of Peabody, 2 daughters And sons-in-law, Cheryl and Martin Flood of York Beach, Me. and Wendy and Stephen Lee of Peabody; 5 grandchildren, a sister, Barbara Gould of Peabody and Many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 12 Chestnut St., Peabody facility. A Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, West Peabody.
