Obituary of Audrey G. (L'ltalien) Menard
Audrey G. (L’ltalien) Menard, 87, of Salem, died Saturday afternoon at the Cedar Glen Nursing Home in Danvers following a long illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Barney Menard.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Laura (Menard) L’ltalien. She was raised and educated in Salem and was a lifelong resident. She was a loving mother and devoted grandmother who dedicated her life to her family, raising her two daughters and later enjoyed the company of her two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Audrey enjoyed playing cards, especially Black Jack and Poker and often would travel with her family to the Foxwood’s Casino in Connecticut.
Audrey is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Lauren Kostopoulos of Danvers and Claire and Shawn Donovan of Middleton, two grandchildren, Peter Kostopoulos and Beth and her husband Tom Goodchild, all of Wakefield, her four great grandchildren, Ryan and Olivia Kostopoulos and Jake and Grace Goodchild, a brother, Leonard L’ltalien of Beverly, two sisters, Claire Bennett of Rochester, NH and Marcelle Pearson of Pennsylvania, and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Laurien, Jean, and Edward L’ltalien, and Anita Gauthier.
