Obituary of Kenneth W. Robertson, Jr.
Kenneth W. Robertson, Jr., 57, of Peabody and formerly of Saugus, died unexpectedly Sunday evening at Union Hospital after being stricken at home Sunday evening. He was the devoted husband of Diana (Carter) Robertson with whom he shared over 15 years of marriage.
Born in Lynn, he was the son of Ruth (Smith) Robertson of Saugus and the late Kenneth W. Robertson Sr. He was raised and educated in Saugus and was a graduate of Saugus High School. After high school, he attended Northeastern University in Boston for three years. He has been living in Peabody for the past nine years.
He was an accountant for many years and for the past 15-20 years, had his own practice, Robertson and Osborne Associates in Peabody Square.
He enjoyed golfing and was currently a member at Olde Newbury Golf Course in Newbury. He also enjoyed watching football and hockey and was a family man who enjoyed spending time with his sons.
Besides his loving wife, Diana, he is survived by two sons, Stephen Michaels and Adam Robertson, both of Peabody; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Lynne Robertson of Saugus, a sister and brother-in-law, Paula and Bill Cummings of Saugus; his mother, Ruth (Smith) Robertson of Saugus, his father and mother-in-law, Marie and Pal Carter of Peabody, and is survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
His Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody Facility to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation on Wednesday from 4 until 8 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to Kingdom Hall, 79 Endicott St., Peabody, MA 01960.
