Obituary of Helen B. (Trcinski) Wendell

PEABODY - Helen B. (Trcinski) Wendell, 78, beloved wife of George Wendell of Peabody, died unexpectedly yet peacefully at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers on Thursday March 26, 2009 following a brief illness. Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Smietka (Bronislawa) Trcinski and a lifelong resident of the city. Mrs. Wendell worked for many years with Hogan Regional in Hathorne. She also worked with United Shoe in Beverly and in Housekeeping with various Nursing Homes through the North Shore. She cherished her family, living life with simplicity and loved her role as a nurturing mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed spending time at Salem Willows. She is survived by: her husband, George Wendell of Peabody, with whom she shared 41 years of marriage; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Ken Eliuk of Boston and Dwayne & Denise Wendell of NH; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Susan & Phil Pierce and Diane & Glen Redmond both of Peabody, and Stacy Gallagher of FL; four grandchildren, Janelle Franklin and Stephanie Pierce of Peabody, Zachary Wendell of NH, and Kenny Eliuk of the North Shore, and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Monday from 10:30 to 11:30 A.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. location, Peabody, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:30 AM in the funeral home. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
