Obituary of Kathleen M. Doyle

Kathleen M. Doyle, 57, of Peabody, died Thursday evening at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers following a courageous battle with cancer. She was the former wife of James Dabrieo who remained her life long friend. Born in Chelsea, she was the daughter of Helen (McDonald) Doyle of Peabody and the late Paul Doyle. She was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody High School and was voted the wittiest girl in class of 1969. Kathleen later attended North Shore Community College in Beverly and received her associate’s degree in Human Services. She later worked as a waitress at Sam and Joe’s Restaurant in Danvers and the Wardhurst Restaurant in Peabody. She also loved the outdoors, gardening, and travel. Besides her mother, Kathleen is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jodi (Waters) and David Crane, her siblings, Thomas, Diane, and Debbie, her former husband Joseph Waters, several nieces and nephews, and is also survived by many close and dear friends. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be on Monday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St., Danvers, MA 01923.
