Obituary of Lillian Ann (Hubisz) Breen

Lillian (Hubisz) Breen, 78, of Peabody, died Saturday morning at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers following a brief illness. Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Annie (Bennett) Hubisz. She was a life long resident of the city and a graduate of Peabody High School Lillian first worked for Sylvania and CBS Hytron in Danvers and later as an assembler at the former Parker Brothers Company in Salem before finally retiring in 1990. Lillian is survived by a son, William Breen of Salem and a daughter, Colleen Blais of Danvers, five grandchildren, Adam, Benjamin, Nathan, Joshua, and David Breen and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Brian Breen and was predeceased by three brothers and six sisters. Her Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the Blake Memorial Chapel at Harmony Grove Crematory, Grove Street Salem to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. Following cremations, a private burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
