Obituary of Mario F. Bonaviri

Mario F. Bonaviri, 84, of Peabody, husband of the late Rose M. (DiBenedetto) Bonaviri, died after a brief illness on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at the Salem Hospital NSMC with his daughter at his side. Mr. Bonaviri was born in Boston on October 27, 1924 the son of the late Vincenzo and Maria Santa (Lalecata) Bonaviri. He was raised and educated in Somerville and later resided in East Boston before moving to Peabody in 1960. Mr. Bonaviri was employed as a salesman for many years with the Drakes Bakery Company in Massachusetts until his retirement in 1989. Mario prided himself with repairing anything for his family and friends. Mr. Bonaviri is survived by his daughter, Maria E. Bonaviri of Peabody; a son, Mario Bonaviri; a brother, Joseph Bonaviri of FL; his in laws, Marianne and Edward Swaim of Peabody and several nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by many brothers and sisters. His funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., (location) Peabody. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours are Friday, April 3, 2009 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial in Puritan Memorial Park, Peabody.
