Obituary of Arlene Francis (Knox) Fisichella
Arlene Francis (Knox) Fisichella, 68, of Malden and formerly of Saugus and Melrose, died Thursday afternoon at the Massachusetts General Hospital following a brief illness. She was the wife of Frank Fisichella.
Born in Malden, she was the daughter of the late George Frances and Dorothy Lillian (Klaus) Knox. She was raised and educated in Malden and was a graduate of Chevrest Girls Catholic High School in Malden. She later lived in Melrose and Saugus.
She was the loving mother of Fred G. Manza, Tammy (Manza) Smith, Angelica N. and her husband James Chilson, and Nicholas J. Fisichella, sister of George and his wife Patricia Knox, Edward and his wife June Knox, Gail and her husband Philip Crosscup, Frank and his wife Kathleen Knox, daughter-in-law of Carole Fisichella, sister-in-law of Carole Ann (Fisichella) and her husband Paul Magner, Janice R. Roberts, and Karl J. Fisichella, and loving grandmother of Christian Smith, and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held on Monday at 9:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Adelaide’s Church, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 3:00 until 6:00 PM. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
