Obituary of Steven E. Suleski
Steven E. Suleski, 61, of Boxford and formerly of Peabody, died Friday at the Community Hospital in New Port Richey, Florida following a brief illness. He was the devoted husband of Patricia (Arsenault) Suleski with whom he shared over 42 years of marriage.
Born in Lynn, he was the son of Marie (Clemente) Suleski of Peabody and the late Edward Suleski. He was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody High School, class of 1964. He has lived in Boxford for the past 31 years.
Steven first worked as a fire protection engineer for the Swift Sprinkler Company in Peabody for 18 years, after which he started his own company, Commonwealth Sprinkler Company Inc., in 1982. He has owned and operated that company, along with his family, for the past 27 years.
For the past two years, Steven and Patricia have been wintering in New Port Richey, Florida. He also enjoyed playing softball and played two different leagues, the Boxford Men’s Softball League and the Ken Waldi Senior Sports Circuit in Methuen.
Besides his loving wife, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Steven E. Suleski Jr., and his wife Amanda of Boxford, a daughter, Christine Suleski of Boxford, three brothers, Bill Suleski of Peabody, Jeff Suleski of Haverhill and Jim and his wife Donna Suleski of Peabody, a sister and brother-in-law, Joanne and Stanley Guzowski of Peabody, four grandchildren, Andrew Crouse, and Marie, Jaylene, and Rhian Suleski, and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 9:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St.., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Ann’s Church, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours are on Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701
