Obituary of Jeannette (Levesque) Aiello

Peabody - Jeannette H. (Levesque) Aiello, 84, beloved wife of Salvatore "Sam" Aiello of Peabody, died Easter Sunday Morning, April 12, 2009 at the North Shore Medical Center-Salem Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Remi and Bernadette (Marquis) Levesque. She lived in Salem for 41 years, and graduated from St. Joseph's Academy in Salem. She lived in Peabody for the last 43 years. Mrs. Aiello was a Secretary at GTE Sylvania on Boston St. in Salem for 17 years, then was a Secretary with the former J.B. Thomas Hospital in Peabody for 10 years before retiring nearly 20 years ago. Jeannette enjoyed living her life with simplicity, traveling, gardening, picking blueberries and doing crochet. She is survived by: her husband, Salvatore "Sam" Aiello of Peabody, with whom she just celebrated 50 years of marriage; two nephews, Michael Woodward of CA, Donald Woodward of NH, Anthony Fronteiro of Gloucester, and several more nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death, besides her parents, by a sister, Pauline Woodward. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5 to 8 P.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. location, Peabody. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to her Funeral Service on Thursday at 11:30 A.M. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
