Obituary of Jeannette M. (Pare) Tambeau

Peabody - Jeannette M. (Pare) Tambeau, 78, beloved wife of the late James W. Tambeau, died Thursday afternoon at the North Shore Medical Center/Salem Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Lawrence, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Blanch (Latulipe) Pare. She grew up in Alstead, NH where she attended schools and graduated from Vialis High School, Class of 1947. She lived in the Derry, NH area for several years, and has lived in Peabody for the last 33 years. Mrs. Tambeau was self-employed doing Housekeeping in several homes around the North Shore. Jeannette enjoyed reading, traveling within the United States, and hosting social gatherings to share her cooking and cherished her family. She is survived by: three sons, James Tambeau of Middleton, Matthew Tambeau of Salem, and John Tambeau of Middleton; one granddaughter, Brittney New of Beverly; on brother, Raymond Pare of Brockton; two sisters, Pauline LaBree of New Boston, NH and Doris Huntley of Keene, NH, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death, besides her husband and parents, by a brother Larry Pare. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5 – 8 P.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. location, Peabody. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Wednesday at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM in St. Adelaide's Church, Peabody. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Saugus.
