Obituary of Edward W. "Teddy" Giadone

Edward W. “Teddy” Giadone, 42 of Peabody and formerly of Saugus, died Tuesday morning at the Beverly Hospital. He was the loving father of Paige-Marie Giadone and former husband of Lauri (Hashem) Giadone, both of Saugus. Teddy was born in Winthrop and was the son of Anthony and Edna (Maguire) Giadone of Peabody. He was raised and educated in Saugus and was a graduate of Saugus High School, class of 1985. Teddy was currently working in the deli department as a meat cutter at the Market Basket in Salem. Teddy was also an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching all of Boston’s professional sports teams, Red Sox, Bruins, Patriots, and Celtics. He was a loving father and will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Besides his daughter and parents, Teddy is survived by his siblings, Anthony and Carol Giadone of Stoneham, Kathleen Giadone and Dean Ward of Peabody, Mary and Francis Lee of Nashua, NH, Norma Thistle and her partner Dana Callahan of Salem, Paula and Timothy Martin of Saugus, Sharon and Michael Granese of North Reading, Daniel and Angela Giadone of Groveland, and Eileen Rose Goodman of Nashville, TN, a close family friend, Charles and Heather Mooskian of Pelham, NH and is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. His funeral service will be held on Saturday at 9:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Adelaide’s Church, 708 Lowell St., Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 2 – 4 and 7 -9 PM. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
