Obituary of Julie Ann (Selvo) Kulakowski
Julie Ann (Selvo) Kulakowski, 51, of Peabody, died unexpectedly Friday, April 24,2009 at the Beverly Hospital after taking an ill turn earlier at a beauty salon in Danvers. She was a newlywed to her husband Richard B. Kulakowski for almost 2 years that was filled with wonderful loving memories of which made both of them so exceptionally happy for the time they had together. She was a loving mother, who over the years loved to camp, fish and boogie board on the Cape with her son, Garrett. Julie was an excellent cook and loved to entertain friends and family all year long. She loved to travel and especially enjoyed the beaches of Bermuda where she visited frequently.
Loved by many, Julie’s wonderful smile, kindness and simplistic joys of life will be greatly missed by all. Julie was the daughter of Ronald and Nancy (Dunton) Selvo and was a life long resident of Peabody graduating from Peabody High School in the class of 1976. She was a dental assistant at the Hamilton Dentistry in Hamilton and was instrumental in helping establish the practice with her dear friends and colleagues, Doctors Charles and Laura Vorrias over ten years ago. She was a respected employee who served as a role model for the rest of her co- workers there and will be lovingly remembered by not only those she worked with but also by the many patients she comforted and befriended.
Surviving Julie besides her husband Richard and son Garrett both of Peabody are her parents of Danvers, her loving sisters, Karen and her husband Sean McHugh and Paula Colarruso all of Peabody, her devoted brothers, Kevin and his wife Jennifer Selvo of Peabody and David Selvo of Ipswich, her adored step-daughters, Cpl. Jaclyn Kulakowski of the US Marine Corps now serving in Iraq, Kathryn and Christine Kulakowski both of Peabody and several nieces and nephews she loved so dearly. She was the former wife of Scott Evans and is also survived by her extended family, Philip and Gloria Evans and their family of Danvers who she loved and adored for so many years. They truly were a large part of her life and filled her heart with love and affection.
