Obituary of Dino Lambros Kangis
Dino Lambros Kangis, 74, of Carmel, Indiana, and formerly of Lynn, died unexpectedly Sunday morning in Detroit after being stricken at the airport in Michigan.
Born in Greece, he was the son of the late Lambros and Katerina Lambros. He later lived in Lynn for 20 years, Hawaii for 5 years, Anchorage, Alaska for 20 years and most recently has been living in Carmel Indiana, with his daughter and her family.
He owned and operated his own restaurants in both Alaska and Lynn, before retiring.
He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Lambros and Paula Kangis of Anchorage, AL, and Aleko Kangis of Denver, Co., two daughters and sons-in-law, Katina and Joe Naulty of Carmel, IN, and Diana and John Mowatt of Weston, Fla; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Giannis and Kaliroi Skantzis, George and Maria Skantzis and Leonidas and Eustathia Skantzis, all of Greece, two sisters, Dina Kepesis and Soula Georgakopouls, both of Greece; four grandchildren, Nicole Kangis, Amanda Naulty, Christopher Naulty, and Alexander Mowatt.
His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home,12 Chestnut St., Peabody facility to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn
