Obituary of Dorothy B. (Lewis) Lussier
Dorothy B. (Lewis) Lussier, 82 years, wife of Armand S. Lussier of Peabody died Wednesday evening at the Montserrat Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Beverly after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Lussier was born May 18, 1920 in Boston daughter of the late Edward and Ann (Ahern) Lewis. she was raised and educated in Salem graduating from St. James Girls High School class of 1938. After graduating she was employed at the former C.B.S. Hytron and Hygrade of Salem. After raising her family she then was employed as a sales clerk for a few years at Filene's in Peabody until 1980. she enjoyed knitting.
In addition to her husband of 62 years, she is survived a daughter and her husband, Joy B. and John Tachuk of Salem; a son John M. Lussier of Peabody; a brother, Edward Lewis of Salem; five grandchildren, Peter, Anne, Michael and Tiffany Tachuk all of Salem and Lisa Cronin of Wakefield and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 8 a.m. from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 20 Church St., Peabody location 978-531-0472 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00a.m. in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Salem/Peabody line. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours Sunday 4 - 7 p.m. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Salem.
